A K = All in pre-flop?????

Yesterday watching some friends playing poker and suddenly i see a raise from the one,other re-raise,other all-in ,and the second follows...

A K the first one, A Q the other, both un-suited if i remember well.

As i have read i very nice phrase that have remained in my mind for so long.

Andrew Glazer writes..."It's best to have to ways to win: with your bet or with your hand.If you call all-in you can only win with your hand."

Very important phrase and it describes exactly the upper situation.

For many players A K, or A Q is like the cards from heaven.
Of course they are nice,but if you don't play with them wisely you may end up quickly out of the game.

So for me,of course play them powerfull but i never push them more than the limits that i set. Don't try to win when you don't have even one chance. If you push your hand there more you just make your opponement happier. Push them but always remember when to stop ;)

Trying my luck now to a satellite for the EPT at copenhagen...:)

Unfortunatelly didn't manage to play yesterday to BPT, I have a sleeping problem lately and i fall asleep and didn't manage to wake up to play...:( :):)

And my good shape gone wasted.....:P

Next time is going to be my time....i can feel it :D

While The BPT event is coming i played some Short-handed SNG for a warm-up and we have 3 first places and 2 completely looses on 5 games,so i guess i'm in a fairly good shape for the BPT event :)

Freerolls...worth it or not???

Well my formula says that....

min 200$ in the pot...max 100 players,and for every 100$ added you can 10 players.

This you can say it worth it..for the rest i think it's more a waste of time than fun or playing to win

Yesterday start a freeroll $200 with 500 people..
first 50 paid out
50-40 60 cents
40-30 80 cents etc.... lol!

If this is not a waste of time then what it is??

You can only make out some cash if you finished a the top 5.

Playing 2 hours and been at the 4th-5th place for good with a very big stack...but got bored and gave out my chips...ended up 85.

Got bored because it seems to me a non-sense game,cause i don't play only for fun.
Everytime i play also for profit.

So i end it up with that formula. :)

And i believe that i'm right ;)

Playing Omaha at BPT :)

lol! for the first time i tried omaha at the bpt event! never played before and it was quite funny and interesting game,but i couldn't have any luck against guru's of the game so ended up at the middle of the tourney :)
